- Preserving Culture: Amid rapid growth, your role as a YRA member will help contribute to preserving Yzerfontein’s unique culture and way of life.
- Funding: The YRA doesn’t receive funding or subsidies from Swartland Municipality and is dependant of subscriptions and donations from members to cover its costs.

What does the YRA offer you?
- liaison with municipal, provincial and national government bodies in the interests of residents.
- advice on municipal tariff issues.
- intervention with the planning and development of the town.
- participation in the creation and development of sensitive areas and heritage sites.
- promotion of the proper development and maintenance of the beach.
- combating litter and pollution of the town.
JOIN YRA FOR ONLY R240 PER YEAR
All Yzerfontein residents over the age of eighteen years of age may apply to become members of the YRA. Membership runs from December in one calendar year to November in the following calendar year.
Residents who wish to apply to become members should download and complete the relevant prescribed form below and send the competed form and proof of payment of the annual subscription (currently R240) to admin@yzerfontein.org.
YRA members who wish to renew their membership for the year should send proof of payment of the annual subscription (currently R240) to admin@yzerfontein.org.
